Mobile activation checklist
Everything you need before you activate. Anna walks you through each step and files the request for you.
1. Check your phone is unlocked and eSIM-ready
iPhone XS and newer, Pixel 3 and newer, and Galaxy S20 and newer support eSIM. Dial *#06# to confirm an EID appears.
2. Have your EID and IMEI ready
iPhone: Settings › General › About. Android: Settings › About phone › Status information. Both numbers are needed to provision the eSIM.
3. Bring your number over
Have your current account number and account PIN from Bell, TELUS, Fido or Freedom. Keep the old line active until the port completes.
4. Pick your 5G Infinite tier
Choose per line — Essential, Premium or Ultimate — with Rogers Internet or TV on the account for bundle pricing.
5. Activate over WiFi
The eSIM profile downloads in a couple of minutes. Restart the phone, then watch the request on Order Status until it reads Active.
